Be Their Voice

To have a voice is something that so many of us take for granted. However, the ability to speak and be heard is not a reality that everyone in the world shares. An estimated 49.6 million voices are currently being silenced by human trafficking and we all have a powerful role to play in speaking up and ending this injustice.

To mark the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on the 30th of July 2023, we released the ‘Be Their Voice Collection’. The UN’s Blue Heart campaign symbol represents solidarity with the victims and the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell their fellow human beings.

This year, women and girls in the Eden program have designed and made these blue bracelets to inspire and mobilize us all to speak up and Be Their Voice!

Each strand within the Be Their Voice bracelet stack represents the heart of Eden and our mission to Be Light. Bring Hope. Share Love.

Additionally, the blue drawstring bag that these bracelets are packaged in has been hand-sewn by women and girls attending Eden’s new drop-in centers, where they have learnt new and sustainable skills to help create a bright and empowered future.

Look out for next year’s campaign as we globally join together again to mark this day that we believe will one day no longer have to exist. To find out more about this campaign watch the ‘Be Their Voice’ film above.

"The amazing work that Eden’s doing is changing lives one at a time. And it doesn’t stop with just bringing people off the streets. The restoration and renewal of hope through training of a trade and work placement is something truly admirable and sorely needed in this generation!"
